Oshawa Walk of Fame

Honouring the past, inspiring the future.

What is the Oshawa Walk of Fame?

Our wonderful City of Oshawa has been home to many influential and distinguished Canadians. The Oshawa Walk of Fame, established in 2006, is a non-profit organization that aims to honour Oshawa residents past and present—who have made significant contributions to life in the city. This is achieved through a series of plaques set in the sidewalks along King Street in downtown Oshawa. On occasion, the Oshawa Walk of Fame has also hosted special events to honour the inductees.

The mission of the Oshawa Walk of Fame is to preserve, celebrate, and showcase the history and heritage of excellence and achievement in Oshawa. It’s important to acknowledge the achievements and successes of individuals who have made significant contributions to life in Oshawa. Join us as we honour the past in order to inspire the future.
